Fotowolk May 28: Old meets new
Theme of this walk: Buildings in the city
Our May photo walk focuses on the city's buildings. Nijmegen has the longest history of any city in the Netherlands (more than 2,000 years!) and a lovely mix of old and new architectural styles. We'll walk through Hessenberg and the area behind Molenstraat, along alleys and across wide squares, looking for combinations that work well in photos. For an extra touch, we'll look for interesting textures and arrangements: neat stonework covered in unruly greenery, or a statue hidden among a tangle of construction fences.
This month we'll meet at Ganzenheuvel, by café De Blonde Pater. The walk starts at 9:30 a.m., and at 11:30 a.m. we'll finish with a drink together.
